Normally Mel’s religious faith or anyone else’s would not be any of our business, but he has made his faith our business and our faith and existence his. Mel’s faith is Catholicism, but not the kind that you and I are used to hearing about. Mel’s is the one where Jews are the bad guys who start wars and god knows what else. Can anyone remind me when the last time a Rabbi started a war?
